During the past month our customers have sent a total of 28,345 customs declarations using our TRIS Customs Communication software package.

Assuming 22 working days per month and 8 hours per day, that means the Customs department receives a declaration from one of our customers every 30 seconds.

During the same month (except for one day) we were running at a level of more than 1,000 declarations per day.

This rate will certainly continue to trend up in future, since one of our customers has landed a large customer in the Netherlands with a particularly high number of declarations made to the Dutch Customs.

TRIS Customs Communication Tool

This tool for direct communication with Customs was developed by Intris in 2013 at the request of our customers. It was initially intended for the Belgian market but in the meantime it has also become popular in the Netherlands.
